The primary goal when we step on stage is to deliver an unforgettable performance.

I heard many brilliant speakers at the recently concluded Global Speakers Summit. One speaker who left a lasting impact was David Gomez .?

David Gomez from Colombia was the closing keynote on the conference's second day. I didn't know him before, but by the end of his 45-minute talk, ??—?????? ???????? ????????????—?????? ???????? ?????????????????????? ???????? ?? ???????????? ??????. ???????

?????? ?????????????????????? ????????'?? ???????? ?? ?????????????? ?????? ?? ????????-?????????? ????????????????????.

By delivering wow after wow through all media possible.?

David is a differentiation specialist, teaching companies how to position themselves to stand out. He lived his message when on that vast stage.

His message was simple. He spoke from the heart about the various positioning missteps he had made in his personal career.

During the three message sections, there was humour, drama, costume changes, and choreography. The speech was a series of wows, delivered in an endearing Javier-Bardemesque accent. His costume was designed by a professional with Hollywood experience—and it showed!

His message was clear: ??????????????????????????, ??????????????????????, ?????? ???????????? ?????????? ?? ?????????????? ????????????????????. Whether it's a book, a course, or a simple takeaway, create a long tail that keeps the audience engaged long after the curtain falls.

Random selection from the audience to give the gift of his books. And one physical takeaway for everyone in the audience.

David reiterated his message: It is a performance that we need to deliver as professional speakers, not a speech.

It was similar to a theater show, and it was evident that David's team had planned it that way. After his talk, a whole bunch of us waited by the sidelines to chat with David. His "Remember me" icons, imagery, and giveaways left speakers like us with a high benchmark to emulate.
