Why people find it difficult to achieve their goals?

When it comes to achieving goals, even with dedicated hard work, many people find it challenging to make significant progress. Drawing from my experience in coaching and training, I have identified several ones, but I would like to discuss the seven following reasons.
Reason number one: people don't know what they want.
"I don't know" is often what people tell me but I realized later that people often know exactly what they want; they just don’t have the gut and the confidence to go for it. There are many factors that may contribute to that such as societal or family expectations, fear of judgement, lack of self-reflection, or limited exposure to different options. It takes self-discovery, exploration, and introspection to uncover one's true desires and passions.
Take time for yourself. Be honest with yourself. Don’t listen to what people may say because in the end it is about you!
Reason number two: there is a confusion between what they want and what they really want, which explains also why they keep changing their minds.
Have you ever encountered a situation where your mind and heart seem to be in conflict, pulling you in different directions? Something similar to this “my mind tells me to go for this option, but my heart tells me not.”
When your attention or energy is divided, if one part of you desires something while another part believes it's unattainable or not for you, that outcome will probably not appear in your life.
?Reason number three. They know what they want but they don't believe they are worth it.
Do you believe in yourself, or do you let others tell you who you are and what you are capable for? Do you see yourself less or more. Today, with all the paradigm shift, you cannot afford not to believe in yourself and in your capabilities. Believing comes with actions and consistency not with dreaming and rehearsing your dreams in your mind. ?
The firm and unshakeable belief you hold about acquiring your goal is what will get what you ask for, especially when coupled with actions.
Reason number four. ?Unable to get started or take action
Activation energy in chemistry refers to the extra amount of energy that is required to initiate a chemical reaction. Then, after this initial spark, a lot less energy is needed to keep it going. The same applies in human behavior. Not having activation energy is why you find it difficult to start something, whether you’re trying to start a new business, learn new skill, or start new?habit.

So, the best strategy to create the spark that will help you take your first step toward anything is to adopt the 5-second rule popularized by Mel Robbins
?Why 5 seconds? By taking action, any small action, within 5 seconds you outsmart your own brain, overcome hesitation and create the necessary momentum that will keep you going.
?Reason number five. They define goals that are vague not specific which makes it difficult to monitor progress
The mind does not recognize vague goals. Try to search on google using a vague keyword and check the results you will get. It is similar to how the mind functions. Your goal needs to be clear and specific to manifest your desired outcome and monitor your progress.
Reason number six. They know what they want. They may even take actions but t they are operating at a negative level of energy.
When you’re setting a goal, you have to send it out into the universe with high energy behind it to make the universe respond to your intention. This is how the law of the universe functions.
That energy is ignited or drained by the decisions we take and the choices we make every day, even the tiniest ones.
Reason number seven. Fear of failure.
?It's natural to feel afraid of failing, but letting that fear hold you back can be a major roadblock. The fear of failure can prevent you from pursuing your goals and dreams. It stems from the worry of making mistakes, facing judgment, or experiencing disappointment. However, embracing failure as a steppingstone to growth and learning can unlock new opportunities and propel personal development. Fail big, learn, and start again.
?Remember, you are stronger than you think. You have the power to achieve your goals! Stay motivated, stay focused, and keep pushing forward.
