Why Are People Aging So Poorly?

Why Are People Aging So Poorly?

We have more options to improve your health today than ever before, but many people are walking around broken.

Have you ever just sat and watched people at a shopping mall, airport, train station, or casual dining restaurant?

Maybe you are just sitting on a park bench enjoying the sunshine and you are observation mode.

Either way, I am sure you have seen today’s epidemic of an aging population that struggles to maintain an upright position, proper balance, vibrant skin, and an overall zest for life.

You see, today, the aging population has more options than ever, but are failing to take advantage of the available resources.

The excuse: I am just getting older

Is no longer valid.

Unfortunately, the medical community has not gotten on board with many of the alternative options to medication, restorative physical therapy, and other modalities designed to keep the aging body moving forward.

Look at old Jack Lalanne. He got it. He took his life and his aging process into his own hands.

How?

Daily Cardiovascular Training.

Daily Weight Training.

Eating a High Nutrient Diet.

Getting Proper Sleep.

Spending Time in the Sun.

Staying Married.

He knew the body would age, but he was able to control the pace of aging.

And, so can you!

Focusing on age-resistant training while you are still young is the key. If you are already full tilt into your 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s, that is ok. You are a little behind, but the amazing machine, called your body can adapt at any age.

If you are in your 30s or 40s, I am sure by now you are starting to feel some changes in regards to your metabolism, weight, strength, and overall “athleticism” being somewhat compromised compared to your 20s.

This is natural, but will get worse without training, clean eating, night creams, and a vigorous focus on revitalizing yourself through positive relationships with yourself, friends, family, and nature.

Many advocate staying out of the sun, but we all know we feel better when the rays hit us. Get some each day.

Swimming gives us the feeling of liberation. Dive in.

Stretch. We all know posture and staying lengthened is essential for spinal health and organ function.

Live.

Don’t forget to live.

Stress will kill you, those around you, and your dreams. Approach your life with a focus on the right priorities. You will soon realize all those things you are stressing about really don’t matter. In the long run, no positives come from stressing.

Live.

Take each day and rock it.

Nobody says you can’t be the Mick Jagger of your life. Lead the way. Enjoy the sound of the crowd. Do what you love. And always remember: Nothing is better than some SATISFACTION.

Go get yourself some.

Those who age the best are the happiest.

So, if you are somebody just fumbling through life, feeling daily aches & pains, and making excuses for yourself: STOP IT.

Don’t take yourself so seriously.

Better yourself everyday through exercise, nutrition, stretching, and positive being.

In the end, you will thank your 30 year old self.

If you are just getting started in your 50s,60s,70s, or 80s, not to worry. If you start today, you will always feel better than yesterday!

Giddy up!
