I'm often asked Why did you set 18iT up?

For me its an easy one to answer, I like to help others. I've always liked it. I'm interested to hear what you are doing, how you are doing and what challenges you are facing.

 Its was the reason I found it easy getting started 20+ years ago in my first IT Support role. Being that "go to person" to get things sorted and fixed.

I could see the frustration on people’s faces as they were stopped from completing their jobs and tasks. For me it was about the moment of joy when the issue was resolved and they were able to get back on with the job and task at hand.

 This has followed me throughout my career to date, from 1st line support all the way up to working in a Pan-European business. Split across Europe with different cultures, traditions, time zones and language.

 So the idea for 18iT was born out of helping others reach their goals. Enabling them to succeed and grow.

I plan to do this within my business, taking a different route to market and coming at the “IT challenge” from a different angle. We are looking for partnership where we work with you, understanding the business and how things connect. Knowing the ways of working you have, the touch points for systems and who uses them. It’s a process that has many fronts and we look to capture and understand them all.
