WHY P2B?

About once every nine months BYU-Idaho hosts the Power to Become (P2B) Conference. On October 28, 2016 the university will host it's fourth P2B with a new slate of speakers and entertainment. The tag line for P2B is "not just a conference, an experience." So just exactly what will those attending the conference experience?

1. Something similar to TED talks, but with a focus on helping students, alumni, and guests learn how to: Discover their passion, tell their story, and network like a pro.(see speaker lineup at: www.byui.edu/p2b)
2. At times it will feel like the Price is Right with games and prizes where all 2,300 guests will be involved and have a chance to win.
3. World class entertainment with BYU-Idaho performers and Vocal Point from Brigham Young University.
4. A chance to learn from very successful alumni and professionals like: Brian Haynie, CEO and Founder of TOPO financial; Richie Norton, New York Times bestselling author and consultant; Suzette Steward Coates, the 2013 national teacher of the year; Timothy Ng a rising star with Google; Al Fox Carraway, a well known author, blogger and speaker; and BYU-Idaho President Clark G. Gilbert.
5. Finally, an opportunity to be inspired and learn tips that will help you achieve your goals and succeed in life.
