BeMyApp has been at the forefront of accelerators in Europe for the past couple of years, with Holcim being one of our recurring partners. In 2021, Holcim launched their third accelerator program and confided in us to make their vision a reality, and that we did.

After 6 months of of dedicated work between the partners and experts, the first place prize went to french early-stage startup: Modulatio’s

"Modulatio’s goal is to use the right amount of material where it is needed. This is the Variable Density Alveolar Structure. Known as honeycomb structures, such as cellular concrete, have a structure like bread, with cells of random size and distribution. Modulatio's patent makes it possible to order these cells and control their size. This permits the density of the material to be controlled at any point. The proposed material savings are in the order of 70% at iso-mechanical strength".

This will mark the third year BeMyApp and Holcim combine forces to bring the program to life!

The 6-month accelerator program has officially kicked off, and the 12 startups have just completed their first mentoring session with industry experts. We're excited to witness their incredible journey and growth over the coming months!

How did we narrow it down to 12? Well, it was not easy—let’s get down to business:

The Holcim committee faced a tough task in choosing the final teams. With over 160 impressive applicants in the selection phase and over 60 interviews conducted during the pre-selection phase, the process was rigorous.
