Why Online Marketplaces?

An online marketplace can expose your products to a larger audience, but you still need to create a strategy that leads customers to your page and generates sales.

Do not get me wrong; As a marketer, I believe you should continue to sell your products on your Shopify/Wix/WordPress site. I think you should continue to invest your internet marketing budget (Google/Facebook/IG/TikTok, etc.) with brand awareness and complex sales campaigns. I want to show you that there are many benefits to promoting in the online markets themselves and the benefits of doing so.

Many organizations are unaware of the promotion options available in the online markets. Take Amazon, for example; I’m sure I do not need to explain to you how Amazon operates, but let me share some numbers with you:

A. Amazon’s sales in 2020 were close to $ 386 billion.

B. During the third quarter of 2021, Amazon generated total net sales of approximately $ 110.81 billion.

C. Amazon has generated over 2.4 billion site visits across all devices.

We know people go to Amazon looking for something to buy; otherwise, they have no other reason to be there. So, what promotion can we do there? Let’s talk about “action items” (my favorite way).

SEO - In the online markets, you have nowhere to write articles like you can on your site, but you need to invest in listing your products; any data you provide/list should include keywords that will attract more people to your listing.

Coupons - One of the best deals on Amazon, potential customers will see a coupon code outside your store, which will attract them to visit your online store. The coupon will also appear on Amazon’s coupon page, giving you more exposure.

Amazon PPC - Amazon has product dictionaries for sale.

We want our products to be exposed to more leads, so we’ll use PPC promotion on Amazon, target keywords, or let Amazon do it for you with the automated campaign.

And listen to it (by Amazon ): On average, Amazon’s small and medium-sized businesses should expect to spend $ 5,000 to $ 9,000 on advertisements a month. An advertiser who pays $ 0.81 per click will spend almost $ 300 per day.

It is imperative to say that AMAZON was just an example, but today I know that SMB needs to spend money on these online campaigns, check the KPI and ROI, and optimize to increase reachability.

With a combination of advertising on some platforms, good results can be achieved.

I understand very much your approach, but we to understand that only!!!! 13% of the commerce is happening online. https://www.statista.com/statistics/185351/share-of-e-commerce-in-total-value-of-us-retail-wholesale-trade-sales/ and that in our commerce trategy there must be a good place for Local Stores and Offline Advertising.
