Why No One Wants Your $7 Offer

Why No One Wants Your $7 Offer

“You need a low-ticket product to get buyers through the door …”

“There’s no WAY you can sell high-ticket coaching directly from a Facebook ad … You’ve got to have something cheaper on the front end …”

“It’s all about building a buyers list. Hook ‘em in with something low-cost, then up-sell them to your more expensive stuff.”

Any of the above sound familiar?

If you’ve been around the online marketing game even half as long as I have, I bet they do.

And on the surface, the low-ticket approach sort of makes sense.

I mean, if you pop up on someone’s Facebook feed in an ad, and they don’t have a clue who you are, why would they want to pay you $3,000, $5,000 or even $15,000??

Surely a cheap, $7 offer is the best way to build trust first, right? Well … No!

Here’s why …

You’re Not Offering Value

We’re conditioned to think that cheap = good value.?

But that’s absolutely NOT the case.

Think about it for a moment - If you were walking along the street, and some dude rocked up next to you, pulled a Rolex out of his pocket, and offered it to you for 50 bucks, there’s no way you’d buy it.

Despite $50 being a steal for a Rolex, you’d assume the watch was either fake, stolen, or broken.?

And even if you wanted that exact same watch, you’d rather go to an official dealer, and part with a 4 or 5 figure fee, because you felt like you were getting the real deal. That right there is value. And it has NOTHING to do with price.

People online are skeptical of cheap offers, and rightly so.

Because if what you’re offering is that good, why would you give it away so cheap?

High-Ticket Prices = High Commitment

The completion and implementation rate for cheap products and programs is TERRIBLE.

Actually, the completion and implementation rate for expensive programs isn’t great either. Because so many people buy a program purely to scratch an itch. But the less someone pays, the less skin they have in the game.

That’s why someone could buy 50 $97 ebooks over the course of a decade, and would likely get nowhere. Whereas if they spent $5,000 once, they’d have a way higher chance of actually achieving their goal, because they’d be motivated to act on what they just paid for.

The more you charge, the harder your clients work, and the better results they get.?

Cheap Offers Don’t Change Lives

For the reasons mentioned above, I don’t know ANY coach who feels they’re hitting their impact goals with low-ticket products.

One of the reasons why our clients have so much success, not just for themselves, but with the people they help, is because they ONLY charge high-ticket. And this means that while it may take a little bit of mindset work to get them over the objection of “But I can’t sell a 4-figure program” … When they do that, and sell with confidence, the results they see are OUTSTANDING.

And it’s not just the clients they help directly, either. Because when you truly turn your life around, others want to know what you did.

So one transformation can be the catalyst for 5, 10, or even 20 more.

Low-Ticket = (Super) High Volume

How many $7 ebooks or $19 video courses do you need to sell to hit a 6-figure income?

Answer: A lot.

Sure, there’s the argument that you can add in up-sells, cross-sells, order bumps, and run buyers through some kind of ascension model to get them to spend more money with you. But this poses two problems -

Firstly, when you sell cheap products, you condition your audience to think you’re a cheap coach, meaning they’re resistant to buy higher-priced offers from you.

And secondly, how complex do you think that is?

You need multiple funnels … Multiple sales pages and webinars … Multiple email sequences.?

It would take a whole marketing agency at least a couple of months to set this up. So one coach on their own could take years to have that system in place.

Swallow Your Fear and Sell High-Ticket

Selling high-ticket is scary.

I know it is, because I had that very same fear when I started out.

But if you want to hit your income, impact and lifestyle goals, it’s the only way to do it. No one gets rich off a $7 offer, and no lives are changed when you devalue your services by charging so little.

So swallow your fear, and commit ONLY to selling high-ticket. Your family and your clients will thank you for it.
