Last week I shared with you 3 powerful questions to ask yourself on a Monday.
Did you give it a go?
How did you get on?
If you haven't read that edition yet, click here to check it out.
One of the questions I shared with you was:
How do you want to feel on Friday?
Today I'm going to dive into this a bit further, because this is actually a Game-Changer!
You see, one of the first questions I ask new clients apart from 'what do you want?' is
How do you want to feel?
Now this might seem a bit fluffy, but there's actually method to my madness, because we feel things first.
Have you noticed that?
We feel things long before we think about them, or before we think of a solution to our situation.
The feeling happens first and that's what we talk about first.
How we feel.
For example:
You might be feeling overwhelmed, like you're spinning loads of plates or treading water
You might feel frustrated, not productive or that you're just going round in circles

Or you might be feeling exhausted, and like you just need more headspace to think
Whether we choose to listen and take notice or not, how we feel currently is a neon sign to what we need to change.
But what would it be like if we decided how we wanted to feel and used that as one of our goals?
You see, when we decide how we want to feel a couple of things happen:
1) It becomes easier to say no, make decisions or prioritise based on whether it helps us feel the way we want to feel.
2) We start to see the gap much clearer between where we are now and where we want to be, and can start making the tweaks we need to make to reduce the gap.
For example - If you want to feel more in control you might start to look at how you're working and what's getting in your way.
You start to see things from a different perspective, rather than just getting sucked into the way you've always done things.
So this week I invite you to ask yourself this question
How do you want to feel and what tweaks can you make today to get you there?
I'd love to know your thoughts, let me know by leaving a comment and if you think this would benefit someone you know feel free to share.
Have a fab week
Barbara
