Why Nurses should start use LinkedIn and why it is so important.

How active are you on LinkedIn? Do you consider yourself an active or passive leader? Do you consider yourself a leader or a manager? Are you able to influence others?

As we reach this significant milestone we must ask ourselves these questions.

Dear Friend!

I can't believe we are already 2017 subscribers in just 3 months at the time I am writing this Super Mega Special Edition of my newsletter "Empower Nurses' Voice!" LinkedIn is such a powerful tool!!!

It is with great gratitude that I thank you for your constant support and commitment to "Empower Nurses' Voice." Together, we have created a vibrant community dedicated to elevating the nursing profession.

During our celebration of this achievement, we recognize that amplifying our voices through the right platforms can make our voices more powerful. LinkedIn is a crucial tool for raising nurses' voices around the world. This is not just another social network; it's a powerful networking tool where our influence can make a difference.

What makes LinkedIn so special?

On LinkedIn, nurses can connect, collaborate, and lead. It's a platform where we can share our professional experiences, insights, and achievements to inspire others and shape the future of healthcare. You can transform your career with LinkedIn in several ways:

  1. Strengthening Connections Internationally: LinkedIn connects nurses around the world, allows them to share experiences, and supports them. In this way, a strong and united global nursing community transcends geographical boundaries.
  2. Collaborating and Sharing Value: Through LinkedIn, nurses can collaborate on projects, share best practices, and discuss challenges and innovations. This collaboration is essential for reaffirming the value of the nursing profession and ensuring continuous improvement in patient care.
  3. Leading and Influencing: As a nurse on LinkedIn, you can position yourself as a thought leader and influencer. In addition to elevating your professional profile, you also contribute to the broader healthcare and nursing conversation.

I'm pleased to share a program created by Nurses in Charge Inc in collaboration with Kasey Pacheco and me Dina Paoloni to help you maximize the potential of LinkedIn.

It is so important that we have more nursing voices contributing and commenting on this cross industry platform. As a profession we have largely remained invisible but I am delighted to see more engagement happening. Thanks Dina Paoloni for highlighting the importance of using our voice. ??

Linkedin is not about the post reactions or the number of followers but is about meaningful connections that can lead you to fulfilment and change. If you are nursing leader is your responsibility to use LinkedIn in a strategic way, because Linkedin could really be the amazing companion for a Nurses' Revolution!
