WHY NOT/WHAT IF

This is the time of year everyone thinks about re-energizing, re-focusing, and even re-calibrating. For our team at Accendo, I wanted to propose a provocative thought and gain collective energy around: Why Not/What If. This is a note I shared with them as we kicked off another exciting year.

Why Not… lead your days with the brilliant fire within you? Let it burn brightly. What if… you don’t allow ANYTHING to put out that fire? That fire is your fuel to accelerate the very best of “you” every day.

Why Not… push yourself in uncomfortable, yet exciting, ways? Doing this should give you a little raised eyebrow, a grin, or even butterflies if you are truly challenging yourself.

What If… you continuously find ways to admire and appreciate each other in meaningful ways? Our virtual team, spread out across the nation, works because we stay connected in amazing ways. What if… you found more ways to do this, more often?

What If… you clearly understood – and felt at your core – the power of YOUR individual talent we all value so much… your unique attributes that attracted you to Accendo and Accendo to you? We are a beautiful puzzle that requires our collective pieces for the picture to be complete. Each of you are instrumental to the success of our organization.

Why Not… seek ways to up your game and do even better work? If our core business is helping individuals, teams, and organizations be better at what they do, what if… we each find ways to be even better today than we were yesterday?

What If… we double our business? What if... you find ways to continue to grow Accendo in a big and crazy way? This is the year WE “go big”…and do this by helping our CLIENTS “go big”. We are ready and we have the team to do it.

Why Not… look back at this year and see how much each of you truly created significant value to our team? It is impressive. You are impressive. Take a moment and reflect back, be proud, give yourself a high five, do a little dance, and know that there is NO better team than the one we have.

What If… you could truly see in my heart and feel the love, admiration, respect, and true friendship I feel for each of you?
