Why Newsletters Are The Next Gold Rush for Copywriters

Why Newsletters Are The Next Gold Rush for Copywriters

Quick Look: 5 Reasons Why Newsletters Are Set to Dominate the Digital Space

Let’s get straight to the point: the newsletter business is exploding, and if you’re a copywriter — or anyone keen on making money online — you can’t afford to sleep on this. Here’s the real tea on why newsletters are the next big thing.

1. Instant ROI? Yes, Please!

In the competitive world of copywriting, securing an immediate return on investment (ROI) is like stumbling upon a unicorn in a field of horses. It’s rare, it’s magical, and it promises a slew of opportunities. With newsletters, this elusive ROI isn’t just a fairy tale — it’s happening right now.

Why is that? Because when your newsletter offer is hot, it’s not just warm — it’s scalding. But a word of caution: for every sizzling offer, there are countless that barely generate a spark. If you’re aiming to be the former, then you need to make your newsletter offers count.

This includes creating an irresistible premium version of your newsletter (this is where you’ll attract paid subscribers who bring in your regular recurring revenue), but you also need to post consistently (5x/week) and be good enough that other newsletter owners will pay you for referring THEM subscribers. I’ll write another article on this piece of the model soon, that’s a whole other ballgame.

2. Turn Emails into Daily Earnings

If you’ve been in this online entrepreneurship game for a while, you’ve probably followed many of the big gurus like Russell Brunson . He hinted very early on that daily income is possible through killer offers in our newsletters.

Well, here’s your confirmation: this is not just a baseless claim. Each email opened turns into roughly $0.04. Do the math — a list of 10,000 subscribers with a 50% open rate can easily earn you $400 a week, just by hitting the ‘send’ button five times.

3. Skip the Social Media Hassle

We all know that organic reach on social platforms has become the Everest that fewer and fewer are able to summit. Now contrast that with email. Regardless of how many minions CEOs have to manage their social media channels, they themselves will always — always — check their email. Now, tell me, which platform sounds more promising for your message?

Endless content creation, scheduling posts, responding to comments and obsessively checking growth? Or putting out highly valuable and curated content (with the help of ChatGPT) daily and getting money back every time? It’s a no-brainer.

4. Supply, Demand, and the Rising Cost of Attention

As newsletters continue to gain traction, it’s inevitable that the cost to acquire an email subscriber will rise. Simple economics dictates that demand will outstrip supply. Newsletters that have already built significant traffic will become the go-to arenas for high-bidding marketers seeking attention, making it imperative for you to carve your niche sooner rather than later.

5. Information Wants to Be Free — Or Does It?

Thank Alex Hormozi for setting the precedent of giving away valuable marketing information for free. It’s set off a ripple effect. Now, even industry giants are hopping on board, offering tantalizing pieces of free content. If you’re in the information marketing niche, know that your competition isn’t just cutting prices — they’re eliminating them altogether.

Still not convinced? Stay tuned. I have more compelling arguments up my sleeve that I’ll be sharing soon.

If you’re eager to delve into this more, feel free to comment or send me an email. I’m currently crafting an invaluable, no-BS guide to launching your newsletter business, and guess what? I’m giving it away for free. Plus, you’ll receive an exclusive subscription to my own newsletter to witness firsthand how I’m navigating this exciting terrain.

Don’t let this golden opportunity slip through your fingers. The newsletter revolution is here, and it’s only getting started.
