WHY NAAM JAP IS MOST IMPORTANT - MORE IMPORTANT THAN WITNESSING GOD IN REAL (???? ???????????).

In Ram Charit Maanas in Vanvaas Leela ( ????? ???? ) there is mention of two female characters. One Supranakha (????????) and the other is Shabri (????). Both of them witness god (???? ???) in flesh and blood. But its paramount to note that what happens to both of them is very very different and this is the one of the most important learnings from Shree Ram Charit Manas.

Where as Supranakha (????????) does meet Shree Ram, the outcome is that she loses her nose and is has to face the wrath of Lakshman Ji. On the other hand Shabri is so special that Shree Ram comes searching for her, meets her and upon meeting him, she attains salvation.

What was the difference?

Both of them wanted Shree Ram, even Shupranakha's (????????) love for Shree Ram was real but she does not benefit from the meeting with Shree Ram as she was NOT a naam jaapika. On the other hand, Shabri (????) had been a naam jaapika since ages and that's the culmination of her meeting with Shree Ram, that she attains salvation after meeting him.

So does Shupranakha (????????), does not benefit at all after meeting Shree Ram. In Bhagwat Puran (????? ?????) its written that it dawns on her that she is on the wrong side after her family is anhiliated in the war against Dharma and she eventually becomes a Naam Jaapika. After ages of penance and Naam Jap she is given this boon by Lord Bramha that she cannot have Shree Ram in Treta Yuga as he is married to Mata Sita, but in Dwapar Yuga she would be born as one of the Gopi's and her wishes would be fulfilled. She does get born as a Gopi and Lord Krishna rewards him with his holy embrace.

SO WHAT'S THE LEARNING

One must realize that Naam Jap is PARAMOUNT, above everything in this Kalyug and THAT THERE IS NO OTHER METHOD TO ACHIEVE CLOSENESS TO GOD. Naam Jap is the fastest and easiest method to attain closeness to god (I would not use the word salvation as that's something very profound and deep and not everyone would want that). A mere closeness of god can elevate you to a level where you can navigate life with utmost ease.

Even in Ram Charit Maanas Goswami Tulsidas says

?????? ??? ???? ???? ???? ?????? ???? ?????? ??? ??????? ???? ???????? ?? ????? ???? ??? ?????????

Ram Naam and Ram Katha is like the Kamdhenu which can fulfill all your wishes in this Kalyuga. This is the river of flowing nectar on earth and is the only thing that can make you fearless and can swallow the frogs of delusion in this river.
