Before we dive into today's message, it's crucial to understand that attaining financial freedom isn't about accumulating excessive wealth to fulfill every material desire. Instead, it signifies the liberty to pursue a purpose-driven life, unburdened by financial constraints that distract us from our divine calling. This journey leads to profound joy and gratitude as we wholeheartedly focus on serving the Lord, recognizing Him as our ultimate provider.

My journey began in the depths of financial struggle, drowning in overwhelming debt while trying to maintain my business. Initially, like many, I expected miraculous financial bailouts to alleviate my burdens overnight. It did not happen the way I wanted. However, my path to freedom turned out to be a much more rewarding journey of spiritual growth and financial restoration. I am delighted to share the valuable lessons I have learned along the way.?

Through the years of spiritual growth, I've come to realize that many earthly issues stem from spiritual realms. To truly solve problems, we must first comprehend their spiritual underpinnings and address them at that level, leading to tangible solutions in the earthly realm.

The complexities behind my financial crisis became clear when God showed me a vision revealing the spiritual reality of my financial state. In this vision, I saw a bag containing my money, but it was riddled with numerous holes; these holes symbolized the unseen leaks through which my money and resources slipped away unnoticed. Initially shocking, this revelation gradually made sense as I reflected on Jeremiah 2:13, guided by the Holy Spirit.?

The passage from the New International Version reads, “My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.”

Reflecting on this scripture alongside my vision, I must humbly admit that my lifestyle before embracing Christ did not align with God's standards, and some of my business practices were morally questionable. Both the vision and the scripture pointed me toward a sobering truth: the foundation upon which I sought to accumulate wealth was fundamentally flawed. This flaw was the root cause behind my inability to reserve money, regardless of the extent of my efforts or earnings. In essence, I recognized myself as a broken vessel, lacking the character needed to retain God's blessings at that time.

This revelation, though initially unsettling, marked the beginning of my journey toward financial freedom and served as a catalyst for divine restoration. Over the years, I followed God’s guidance to identify the reasons for the holes in my metaphorical money bag and implemented strategies to mend these vulnerabilities, rebuilding a solid foundation capable of retaining the blessings He has destined for me.

Through this transformative journey, I've also realized that financial challenges encompass more than monetary transactions; they intertwine with self-worth, mental health, behavioral patterns, familial dynamics, generational influences, cultural norms, societal systems, and relational intricacies. As we progress, I'll share insights into these factors, unveiling the divine strategies that transformed my financial landscape.
