Why must we collaborate
Why must we collaborate
1) Think of building a quality life like you were building a car
2) A car has over 5000 components
3) Each component such as Carburettor, Spark Plug, Battery, Steering System, Tyres etc etc is a piece of art and science
4) It takes years to build and master these components
5) If a single person were to decide to make every part himself it would take a century to build an average car
6) However because all component manufacturers focus on their parts simultaneously, the car company is able to assemble a great car in a very short period of time
7) So if I have taken 10 years to build my company, my brand, my loyal customers, my team, my system and my products, the only way to grow from here is to find complementary partners who have taken the same kind of time to build their parts
8) That way each association, I see savings of 10 years and in that way I realise that I have actually saved perhaps 100 years across my collaborations
9) Nobody has that much of time on this Planet
10) So the only way to build a 100 years masterplan in say 5 years is by collaboration

11) This is the new mantra
12) Today we are collaborating with customers who have a Mobile App like Uber and because they learn to use it the system starts working
13) They spark to each to other and spread the word and get more people to speak to each other
14) It is a platform, a system where each one plays a part, gains from it and makes the system stronger
15) In an accelerating fast paced world, the only way to stay with the curve is by way of?collaboration
16) And hence leadership becomes the glue to bring people together and to perform in unison to create magic for people
17) Partnership and collaboration is vital but what is important is to identify the complementary quotient
18) Each part of the machine should be unique and meaningful
19) Having too many speak wheels makes no sense and creates problems
20) Leadership and Management have a massive roles to play to make the Elephant Dance
I rest my case
