I had a fantastic conversation with Russell Rogers on the latest episode of Blaze Your Own Trail.

Russell’s journey started in Modesto, California, where he grew up on a ranch.

He was always active, playing football and basketball with his neighbors until midnight.

This early love for movement shaped his life, from his days as a youth pastor taking trips to Mexico, to his landscaping business, and now his movement initiative.

He shared how these experiences taught him the value of staying active and connecting with others through shared activities.

One of the standout moments from our chat was when Russell talked about starting his movement walks.

What began as a simple idea for a community walk along West Cliff turned into a monthly event that attracts dozens of people.
