Their paths were paved with opportunities, and it’s easy to assume that they will continue to achieve great things in their careers.

But then, there’s the other type of candidate—the “Scrapper.” The Scrapper’s resume might not sparkle with the same polish. There may be gaps in employment, a degree from a less recognizable institution, or job experience that doesn’t align perfectly with the role. At first glance, the Scrapper might be easy to overlook. However, upon closer inspection, you’ll find something invaluable in these candidates: resilience, determination, and the ability to succeed in the face of adversity.
