Why more than two heads are better than one

Why more than two heads are better than one

At the end of February, I attended the VA conference in London, chairing an expert panel and co-hosting the day with BeMyVA.

As always, it was a brilliant forum for VAs to learn, network, share knowledge, self-reflect and reach out to others. It was, in a nutshell, a perfect example of COLLABORATION at its finest.

And it got me thinking about collaboration, and what it really means for the VA industry and its customers. Of course, we all know the word, and it sounds like a nice, positive thing to do. But don’t underestimate it: I’m not talking pink fluffy unicorns dancing over rainbows here. I’m talking about the hard graft of being a VA, and how the serious business of collaborating with others can, in turn, really help the clients’ businesses they work with.

VAs may not always be seen as “heavyweights” in the business world, and I’ve touched on that in a previous blog, but their clients know and understand the extent and the value of their work.

A good VA will, like a wise Jedi, see the bigger picture: they’ll appreciate the entire scope of your business, understanding where it is now and where you’re looking to grow. Through collaborating with others in their industry they will be able to access a wide network of experts in different fields to help YOU find new solutions, share good practice and benefit from different business models.

By enlisting the help of a good VA, one who is willing to collaborate with others, you are essentially plugging into this forcefield of collaboration, accessing a wealth of knowledge, expertise, support and creativity. And the benefits to your business can be amazing. Isn’t it time you tapped into The Force?

We work with a 'tribe' of VAs who are all specialists and experts in their own field and business, that way we get to match the right job with the right person.
