Why Modern-Day Space Elevators? - They are a Green Road to Space

Modern-Day Space Elevators will be permanent transportation infrastructures with a zero-carbon footprint. Space Elevators can move millions of tonnes of cargo using a beneficial environmental approach and timely delivery to multiple altitudes and ?destinations.? The beauty of an Earth friendly permanent space access infrastructure is that it can, in addition to lifting massive payloads without pollution, enable missions to help the environment, such as Space Solar Power.? The Modern-Day Space Elevators enable the Green Road to Space by raising payloads with electricity and not leaving debris in low Earth orbit. They[i] enable humanity's most important missions by moving massive tonnage to GEO and beyond. They accomplish this safely, routinely, inexpensively, efficiently, daily and they are environmentally neutral.
Humanity has been dreaming of space, but each requires millions of tonnes delivered to very high destinations - such as:?
·?????? Jeff Bezos’ Vision:??? "Millions of people living and working in space" and "I am going to build the road to space."
·?????? Elon Musk's Vision:?? "Making Humanity Multi-planetary"
·?????? National Space Society Vision;? “People living and working in thriving communities beyond the Earth, and the use of the vast resources of?space?for the dramatic betterment of humanity.”
·?????? NASA’s Vision is boots on the Moon by 2026.
·?????? ESA and many other countries are joining visionary action teams.

·?????? China and Russia have joined in a program for a science station at the Southern pole of the Moon.
·?????? Space Solar Power Program plans on stopping global warming by supplying 1/8th of global electrical needs from space (SSP)
These visions project huge assets in space (at GEO, the Moon and Mars), leading to the realization that a robust permanent transportation infrastructure that is Earth Friendly is desperately needed. Two examples of Customer Demand Pull reflected within the dreams shown above are 1) Space Solar Power needs 5,000,000 tonnes to GEO[ii] to “stop Global Warming,” and, 2) SpaceX has said they need 1,000,000 tonnes for their multi-planetary society on Mars.
