Why are Millennials the Worst?

I was going to do another piece on what has been dubbed by many as the "millennial problem" when I decided to take a step back. There must be someone out there that is wiser (and with much better hair) that has said it before.
That's when I recalled this video I had seen a while ago. It is a TED talk by Kelly Williams Brown where she discusses why millennials are the worst. If you haven't seen it, I suggest you take 12 minutes to watch it.
She makes some pretty good points about millennials, but in this holiday season, I think there is a little bit more here to point out.
Millennials, like everyone else, don't want to be branded, type-cast or otherwise judged without a chance to prove themselves. In business or otherwise, we all should take a moment and recognize that the world is filled with individuals and organizations that are not all the same, and do not appreciate being put in the box with anyone or any organization that carries a similar label.
Whether you are in sales, HR, consulting or the manager of a business, inherent assumptions can lead to missed opportunities, alienation of your clients or employees, or just a bad reputation.
I wish each and every one of you a happy holiday season and thank you for reading! I wish you a prosperous and successful 2018!
