Students / or mentees who receive the right mentoring are not only privileged to gain fresh, constructive insight into their skill sets, but they can also boost their sense of self-worth and take on more responsibility.

Having a defined goal at the beginning of a mentorship arrangement is also crucial to the success of the relationship. By having these defined goals, the parties can work towards achieving something specific. The goal can be anything the student or mentee aims to achieve in the near and foreseeable future. Set up boundaries at the outset that will define the relationship and mentoring sessions to follow.
