Why losing the White House might be the ultimate win

Ten days ago, The Hill published my non-partisan op/ed, and it's been a whirlwind of interviews and responses to comments. It was satisfying that my first paid journalistic writing gig was in The Hill , which is the biggest political news journal in the world with over 47 million monthly unique users. As the final outcome of the US Presidential election is anyone's guess, I gave both political parties something to think about if they wake up on the losing side on Nov. 6. Hint: Reframing political victory sometimes requires strategies of political jujitsu that attain longer-term and more enduring political victories out of short-term losses.
