Stress of ANY kind is enough to make your body cling to tummy fat.
Believe it or not, going to the gym can create stress in your body...
So the very thing you're doing to lose your tummy could make it worse!
Workouts that leave you dripping in sweat and gassed out, are doing you no favours.
Putting more stress on an already stressed-out body due to hormonal changes.
Then throw in disturbed sleep, hot flashes, cravings...
It's the perfect storm for holding onto belly fat!
So here's what to do...
Switch your workouts to more strength training.
And less focus on how much you sweat after a spin class.
Strength-building workouts will regulate the stress hormones, and promote higher quality sleep...
and give you that kick-ass body!
That's why I don't give my clients any vigorous HIIT workouts or sweaty sessions in the gym when they start working with me...
We need to manage stress, get sleep on point, and then bring a more structured training program in after 4 weeks with usually only 2-3 gym sessions needed.
And they drop 2 dress sizes as a result.
