I’m not just making this claim out of thin air. I lived with sleep issues for a decade and struggled with Insomnia for some time. My goal was to sleep happily and never worry about Sleep. ??
First, let’s focus on why pills won’t work in today’s age.
???? uniform ????????????: You are just hoping that an external substance will help you sleep and nothing in your life is causing you not to sleep.
For example: The fact that you are doing a Job can be perceived differently by different individuals:
A person could love the thrill of sticking to deadlines. But then another person could hate the talk of deadlines. ??
The person who loves the thrill could be struggling to sleep for some other reason, whereas a person who hates deadlines struggles to sleep due to something else.
But unfortunately, the same dose of Sleeping pills is given to both of them and it is believed that it will work for both of them.
Getting over sleeping pills ???? ????????: Suppose the best case you sleep with Sleeping pills and have a good night's sleep for a few days. You will need to live with it for the rest of your life.
- Every substance that you put in always reacts. You need also to consider this. The strange thing, not anyone talks the reaction is not the same every day. Because the circumstances of today are completely different from yesterday.
?????? the deep sleep that you get naturally: Even if you sleep the so-called number of hours of sleep you will not be fresh and refreshed because your sleep cycles have gone for a toss.

It’s a step-by-step process. If you skip a single step, you’ll waste a lot of time.

This is easier because if we see the design of Nature, the day and the night cycles have been there to say that it is time to sleep. The problem is Human beings have bypassed this cycle thanks to electric light, and the biggest culprit of all is the 24x7 Internet and live on a never-ending to-do list. ??
?????? ????????: Work on your passion.
I know many work on their Job because they can pay their bills and somehow survive. If everything was favorable, they would have done something different.
The trick is to just work on your passion for as little as 10 minutes a day and get the feeling of completeness.
I did this part of 10 minutes of writing for 3 months and I was able to complete my book.

The human brain is a strange machine that always keeps swinging from the past and keeps going to the future.
It analyzes the past of the failures and wants to plan to prepare for the future and anticipate any potential dangers.
No, I am not saying reflecting on the past and preparing for the future is bad.
But, spending so much time in the past or the future is going to be detrimental and keeps the fight or flight mode active.
The act of being in the present for a little bit of time helps in shutting down the stress response.
4th step: Thankfulness
Being Thankful for the small things in life. This creates a sense of security and then also gives pleasure to the brain. This helps to sleep much better.
5th step: Celebration
Many times, the brain keeps looking at how far you are from the destination and always keeps on pushing toward the goal. Sometimes, the brain also keeps wondering if will we get there or not.
But the fact is when we make progress as I mentioned in the last 4 steps we need to celebrate the small steps that we take. This creates momentum and further creates a new push, and of course, this is in the design of the brain as well. ??
6th step: Humour
‘Laughter is the best Medicine’ In the process of achieving something big we often forget that we need to learn to laugh at ourselves and laugh for no reason.
If you fill your life with Humour it complements all the 5 steps and the progress is faster.
Now the tough part.
Is this journey going to be easy?
Will the recovery be linear and can be easily measured?

Knowing is not doing and not doing will never make it to being.
You will encounter a lot of challenges when you are walking the path. You will doubt yourself.
At this stage, if you have support you will make progress and not stop because you don't see any progress.
If you are serious, stop living on Sleeping pills.

3 个月Manohar GrandhiIn my experience, holding the child's pose for 5 minutes + 10 minutes of progressive muscle relaxation works like a charm before bed.
Totally agree Manohar?? SLeeping pills or for that matter any pills is a total no no..... There are better ways to get sleep than using pills. Useful article?
