Why is LinkedIn "feed" different on "app" and "web"??
Many years ago there was something called a desktop computer, even thought most of the time the computing element was not on the desktop (but "floor" didn't sound as jazzy). Then along came the first "laptop" computers (even though most of us used on a dektop, not a lap, especially if we didn't want the unncecessary radiation in a sensitive area).
And then came "mobile," which took over. And the current main way we access content on mobile today is through an app. Which is a full circle to the applications we ran on our desktops...
Specifically for LinkedIn there are two main pathways of access -- the LinkedIn app on iOS/Android, and the web.
While I could start nitpicking on different features that either behave radically different or simply non-existent on one platform or the other, my question today is much more basic -- why is LinkedIn "feed," the running ticker of stuff shared by my connections, completely different on the app v on the website?? Try it and you will see. I for one cannot figure out an explanation.
Thoughts?

6 年Glad to see that I'm not the only one surprised by this. Not so glad to see that it was noticed 2 years ago and still LinkedIn hasn't done anything about it. Maybe it's by design...
