I find myself cruising through news sites less and less and turning to this space--LinkedIn. And I know exactly why I am here reading and sharing. It is, for the most part, a place where people are sharing ideas in a positive place. Are there critical posts and controversial messages? Yes. Is there aggressive marketing and selling? Yes. Yes. Yes. And Yes. But all of it is under a powerful umbrella of positive energy.
I have networked, shared, messaged, and made phone calls with people I have never met simply because of this space. It has been what I thought it would be in the space of a digital, virtual existence. I have sought advice and given advice because of this platform. Over the past year, LinkedIn has helped fill a gap in positive connections as I was forced to not travel or see family or close friends. This space has allowed me to retain that feeling of being connected despite the geographical realities of distance.
Why LinkedIn? Because it is a positive place for sharing and progress. It's a space where ideas, imagination, and thought collide.....for common good.
Virtual tools have allowed us to broaden our real connections.
Versatile and effective physician executive/leader.
