Why is it in life, when people try to grow, they always desire the #QuickFix?
A classic example is my younger boy Marcus always wanting to be as tall as his big brother Luca, so he can reach the next hold at the climbing wall.
Well, #Growth, in kids, just as it is in life or business, happens incrementally - as long as you provide the right energy!
So, is the answer to sit back and wait to grow? ... NO WAY!
The energy that gives us growth comes from lots of sources, and if you sit there waiting, you wont even be fit enough to reach that next hold when you are physically capable.
The real answer is to create good habits! And to prepare!
Clients going through my Business Waterwheel? often say "My problem is not enough Leads!" They focus on one area, pay someone to fix it, and guess what - they get rubbish leads because they are in a loose Niche, or the cant Convert because their sales technique cant handle volume.
You have to look at the problem of Growth holistically!
Making small, incremental improvements to every area as you grow is what gives you the energy and the fitness to make growth count when the time comes.

3 年Hello Rob, I totally agree, but I also think that this is also because there are so much on Social Media and on Television, showing how people have done it....... or have they ??? We live in a society that is looking for instant gratification, with the promise of get rich quick by doing the lottery, Forex, appearing on "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire", even X Factor and "Somewhere's Got Talent" show how it is possible for some people to shortcut the hard work that is required to be successful. However, through being honest with yourself, hard work and commitment it is possible be and create whatever we want in life.
