?? Hi! This is ‘the future’, speaking to you. Do you remember when phone calls were made from a booth? Or when we could smoke cigarettes in cafes? Ah, the 'good old times,' I hear you thinking. (That's a questionable thought ??)

May I pose another question? Envision yourself in the future, say 10, 20 or even 100 years from now: How will you reflect on today? Can you believe we were once stuck in traffic? Or that children couldn't use AI in school? Probably by then, it seems pretty crazy, right?

I know. There’s a little mindf#ck happening in your head right now because it’s true: what you do or decide today always has an effect in the long run—on future generations. Sometimes we might forget that. You, as an individual, can have an impact. Everyone is a changemaker. But too often we lose ourselves in short-term distractions.

That's why you have to come and join us &other changemakers at our future-creating festival from March 16 to 20 at FTI and& in Leuven. Yes, you get it. Leuven will be vibrant and not to be missed.

???? The Human Library - where books are actually brains of real people

As I keep my promises, this is the first in a series of amazing events I’ll announce in the next few weeks! Make sure to mark your calendar for March 19th for the Human Library.

Several charming cafes in the center of Leuven (Bar Rustic! Taverne Fonske! Café Van de Velde & many others!) will open their doors to this original concept. In each café, you can meet an expert in a specific field. Whether it's about wellbeing at work, achieving a climate-neutral Leuven, or exploring the latest technologies like Artificial Intelligence → ?finding answers to your questions has never been so easy and enjoyable. Oh, and did I mention taking part is entirely cost-free?

This event will be by registration only. I will happily keep you updated when and where.

???? Het Lichaam van de Toekomst - a Pop-up Installation as a new landmark in Leuven

Can you believe that people used to wear glasses? A whole day with a piece of silly technology on their nose? Yes, this is the Future speaking again. Over time, technology won't be on our bodies anymore, but within. Our eyes themselves will become a form of technology. Or your womb will. Or your skeleton.

As of March, you can discover ‘Het Lichaam van de Toekomst’! An interactive Pop-up Installation, in collaboration with Health House vzw , at the Martelarenplein in Leuven. Learn about the ins and outs of our body through sensors in a way you've only seen in sciencefiction movies. Expect a cool Deep Screen 3D, or immerse yourself in our body and laboratories through three interactive storylines.
