Why Kick in the Pants No Longer Works !

In my industry experience of over a decade I have seen many companies and managers using kick in the pants option to make things happen and have their employees work better. Unfortunately , this does not work in the long run and can be a very dangerous practice to follow .
A Manager is a person who not only Manages but makes "Manages well " . To ensure that employees are well motivated to perform their tasks there are certain factors which an Organization and Managers should keep in mind . These include Good Salary , Job Security , good Working Conditions , Challenging Work / Quality of work , recognition and opportunities .
An Employee should be paid well and it is a very basic criteria to keep an employee motivated . They should feel secure with the job and must have good working conditions at office . We must always reward the employees for their hard work and keep challenging them with challenging tasks .
It is important for Organizations and Managers to ensure that they implement the above mentioned to ensure that everyone is motivated to do their work . "Kick in the Pants no Longer Work .
