Why It's Important to Have Patience

Last Saturday, I went to the barbershop to get a haircut.?
It's the same barber I had for three years straight in New York.?
He's the branch manager.
He mentioned how the business has been better since the pandemic.
I mentioned how it would be great if the matcha returned one day.
For those who don't know, the barbershop used to give complimentary drinks with your haircut.
The drinks are: Mineral Water, Sparkling water, Iced Coffee, Matcha or Espresso.
Back to the barber.?
He said while it's not official, I can have matcha today.?
My mind was blown and did mental backflips.
I waited over a year for this since Phase 2 of the pandemic in New York. Matcha made with care from the barber, in house!?
Craig tested. Craig approved.
He told me to be careful that it's hot. And it was good.
Here are two reasons why it's important to have patience.
Tip #1: To have patience with yourself.
We rush things too fast.?
Take it easy. Slow down.?
Life is not meant to be rushed.
Pace your patience.
Dinner doesn't take a minute. Dinner takes time.
To build a personal brand takes weeks, months, and years.
Tip #2: To be patient with people who don't know how to be patient.
It's not easy.
People have less patience and they want things ASAP.
I get it with customers and people. It takes empathy and sympathy.
Be careful you don't lose your cool and your patience.
With kids and pets, have patience.
With patients, have patience.
With strangers, be kind.
Patience is a power you can practice online and offline. It will help you in the long run.
What else did I miss about patience?
Scaled 3 of my own businesses to $1M+, now I’m helping other online entrepreneurs to do the same and sharing what works on social media...
8 个月Patience is indeed a virtue that can lead to great achievements. What practical tips do you offer in your article for cultivating patience in today's fast-paced world?
You didnt miss anything, you described it with such a kindness. Yes patience needs time, to discover it first. Then to practice it. Then to love it. As most good reflections on experiences come with a time, like the answer - why this happened to me? Patience actually opens the doors to yourself.

2 年Patience is a tough thing. Especially when you want to run so dang fast!?!
In a world of chaos, it not easy to be patient but it is far easy to rush into decisions. What i learnt from your blog is to not rush, as dinner does not take 1 minute, it takes much more then that. good things take time
