When I was young, the library is a place to borrow books.
I went on Sunday to see if the book was available.
From the career chat, the expert recommended "Throne of Glass".
You wouldn't believe the hoops I went through.?
I asked one of the staff if the book was in the library.
He printed out a sheet to take to the Teens section.
Went to the Teens Section of the library.
Saw the lady at the desk and asked.
She then directed me to another lady.
The second lady went to the Fantasy section and we found the book.
By the way, the library was about to close in a few minutes.
The library is a great place to read and chill out.
Browse the internet, get peace and quiet, do your homework, and get the help you need.
Here are two reasons why it's important to go to the library.
Tip #1: To save money.
You can borrow books and return the books.
Who remembered in school you had to do book reports?
Book reports are homework assignments where you had to summarize a book of what you read.
Yes, I even did a book report of "Clifford the Big Red Dog".
Back to the tip.

You save money when you borrow a book for free and return it on time.
Any book.
Any video or movie.
It doesn't matter who you are or what your financial situation is.
It's free.
Tip #2: To find a quiet place to read and study.
Let's face it.
You want to relax.
All you want to do is to go in and enjoy your quiet time.
Librarians are happy to help.
If a book is not available, they can order a book for you.
To put in a request for a book.
You can print papers on the computer.
Even prep for job interviews and get career help.
Libraries have events to take part in.?
You can even volunteer and put it on your resume.
Or on your LinkedIn profile.
Libraries are a great place to visit for families, adults, and kids.
Visit your local library and enjoy yourself.

2 年My mom brought my sister and me to the library 2x a week or more as a child. I feel so at home there the stacks and smells of books. Even more so than a bookstore. So glad you're advocating for libraries Craig Davis! What's fun is to visit cities with beautiful architecturally cool libraries.

2 年I also loved going to the library as a child and now a parent. I homeschool my children and you can get the latest books on science and history topics not to mention biographies and geography and travel books. My library always printed out the receipt on the books we checked out with the total amount we saved. We usually saved about $700 each week.

2 年If only libraries near my house have the books I want to read. I still prefer to buy paperback books and read them in the comfort of my house.
