Why iSource? Supportive Hybrid Work Culture

?“…as a mom to be myself, I don’t have to worry about not being able to work because now I have the option to work from home for iSource!”

My story as an iSourceian started almost six months ago. I had just moved to Chennai from Saudi to take care of my parents and I got introduced to work for this amazing company called iSource. They came up with this great idea in the beginning of the pandemic to start a job board for iSource professionals as working from home was now something everyone around the globe was encouraged to do.

My experience of working from office for the last six months has been amazing! Now it’s time for me to have work- life balance on priority and to my surprise iSource offered a supportive option to work-from-anywhere / remote working. ?Actually, before even moving to India I didn’t really know much about working from home as I have only been in positions where it requires me to be in?an office so it made me think, ‘’wow, is this actually a thing?’.

The most comfortable place for me to work is in my room with my colleagues. A relaxing and pleasant environment, complemented by some coffee chats, can assist boost motivation and productivity at work.

But I must say, the flexibility that comes with remote working is not only the most loved benefit of mine with iSource, but it also brings a sense of independence and freedom which is very important for me to live as a family together. It gives me the opportunity to design my schedule according to what works best for me.

From now on my working style has changed; my coworkers and myself no longer meet face to face in the same room. We frequently have to work with colleagues who are located across the country or even in separate states. However, we must have the ability to collaborate in order to produce gratifying work results.

We can work anywhere and at any time since we have the required tools, such as a laptop and access to the internet. To manage your everyday schedules, however, strong time management is required. I usually attend online lecture classes from morning to noon, then work in the office from noon to night.

I now have more time to do things that I didn't have time for in previous jobs, resulting in becoming a much better employee and person overall. Now I have time to look for myself and for my family together, which is very much impossible in today's working world. This is something I frequently convey at events where I discuss the benefits of remote working especially for women, because work from anywhere is more than just a job; it's a way of life! And today, a large number of people rely on this new normal type of working.
