Why Invest In A Coach?

As an entrepreneur, I always saw that I needed someone to help me out at times when I didn’t know whom to turn to. Couldn’t ask my clients, or my family as they really don’t live my business like me everyday and many other thoughts also cropped up in my head such as – “What will they think of me?” “Will they value me if they knew I am not sure of this?”

Also I had been participating in my webinars, going through innumerable books, trying everything on my own...but there still seems like something was missing. Someone who could stand with me and I can look back to and know that I was doing it right.

I was observing many posts of coaches who could help me, but I was afraid to ask them. Why? One of the most important reasons was what will they charge me? I wasn’t really making the kind of income that could pay a high-profile coach like that. But then one day, a friend who was also a trainer like me, passed me an email of a budding coach who needed to do some free coaching to accumulate her coaching hours. And I thought – “not bad!” At least I get to be coached by someone without having to pay for it!

So, we ended up having one session and in that she asked me some pertinent questions which navigated me to meet up with her Master Coach who I have been following on social media for a while.

I connected with him and what was supposed to be a short 30-45 mins call ended being a 3-hour conversation. I poured my heart out to this person, and he was so patient in listening to all that I had to say. And with out any pushing, he offered me with a wonderful option of joining his coaching program with a special price which was valid for 3 days. I kept waiting for him to call me but there was no call to check on me. As I wanted to join a program and just because he didn’t really push me, I decided to join his program.

Having invested in a good coach, I felt so relieved and confident that now my boat will surely sail and reach its destination. That is the confidence the coach instils in you when you start working with a coach.

A coach supports you to reach your goal if you are willing to work on it. Hold your hand and be a partner without any judgements or preconceptions, truly working for your benefit and results you wish to achieve.

And I did. I worked hard on my program and came out with flying colours!

Now I do the same for my clients, helping them become the leader their team can even die for!

So, now the answer to the question – Do all leaders need a coach?

Well, it is not that no one can reach their goal without the coach, but it is just easier and faster and less frustrating. Also, sometimes along the way, it gets lonely, and you may feel like giving it up which can be unfortunate.

As my Master Coach says – “Anyone on this earth who is living and breathing needs a coach as they are all walking towards some goal in their life. Investing in a coach is the best decision you would have made for yourself in your entire life to cross over in whichever area you may be struggling with right now –Vocation & Fulfilment, Love & Relationships, Health & Well-being, Time & Money Freedom.”

According to the International Coaching Federation survey with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) on Executive Coaching, every $ spent on coaching gets $639 back in return.

And I can tell you with my experience, I got back a 1000 times more than that from my coach…and a whole life to thank for!
