Generating Leads and Closing Deals for software houses and marketing agencies
The most simple equation to outline a business is:
a)A Work to get done
b) People Happy to pay for a) Done
A business is done on making people. Otherwise, they wouldn't pay for that.
So How to make people happy?
Knowing before they hire you how to make them happy, which thing leads to a simple conclusion:
The more you operate serving your service in a specific industry, the more likely you will reduce the variables.
The constant feedback loop from the same type of people helps you expect what the issues will be.
That boosts the process of service development by far. If you're serving ten businesses in the same industry, your service/product improves ten times more than if you had only one client per year.
If you serve twenty customers, you improve, compared to the one with only ten, x2 every year, etc.
The best way to express that with a verbal or written expression is:

INDUSTRY SERVED + TOOL USED TO ACHIEVE A GIVEN GOAL
WHY?
Because businesses want to hear about how you solve problems in their business OR in companies they perceive in their companies.
For instance, even if an insurance company for trucks and B2B Saas are both in B2B, they don't perceive themselves as the same industry. Still, insurance businesses and Saas businesses perceive themselves as a group.
If you can address a stack you used to serve several businesses, BINGO!
You've caught their attention.
These people are super happy to pay for people that solve several time their problems. If you introduce yourself as a ( NAME OF THEIR INDUSTRY) + ( TOOL), you're telling them that, creating file memories in their minds that tell them that you are solving problems specifically for their industry.
