I have been into this profession for over two decades starting from Loss Adjuster to underwriting , reinsurance placements and other faculties of the industry. Each department is a faculty in itself and requires lots of human considerations. Recently, I met may insuretech start ups and aggregators who believe that and invest in tech but forget to hire subject matter experts and end up not able to scale businesses and become like any other ordinary agent or sales person with better tech use. TPA is also a very crucial segment. In the absence of the claim experts, smeies most of these TPA also confined to post office jobs like managing credit lines and documentations etc. investment is Subject Matter Experts will enable TPA's to adherence contract certainty which is for most, initial claim reserving and assist to manage work load from Insurance Companies in it's real sense. This is a big missing out from these start ups that leads to low on boardings. I am happy to coach new entrants of the industry with tech expertise.
