Merely finishing a project on time and on schedule does not guarantee success; it's essential to ensure that the outcomes align with the intended value. The project outcome should clearly define objectives, project phases, measurable goals, and success criteria, outlining the trajectory for the project's success throughout its duration.

A parallel and equally significant aspect of any project is human relationships, often referred to as stakeholder engagement. During the initiation phase, the project manager seizes the opportunity to identify all stakeholders and assess their interests, influence, impact, and expectations. This understanding lays the groundwork for effective communication during execution and project closing or handover. Furthermore, this deep knowledge of stakeholders facilitates the development of a stakeholder register, ensuring proper management of relationships and clear communication channels.
