Why I’m a Fan of Personality Tests

Personality tests have been a game-changer for me—not just in my personal transformation but also in shaping the work-life I love. Over the years, they’ve been:

? A tool for self-awareness and growth in my own journey.

? A resource for countless coaching sessions to help others find clarity and direction.

? A way to enable teams by helping individuals tap into their potential, create synergy, and contribute to team culture and results.

? A powerful tool for companies to build stronger teams, enhance collaboration, and align individual strengths with organizational goals.

Of course, like any tool, it’s all about how we use them. Personality tests aren’t about putting people in boxes—they’re about opening doors to understanding, inclusion, growth and possibilities.

I love it when people share behind-the-scenes insights from their (work) life: e. g. which tools they work with, and the impact they’ve had, how they actually use the tools... It’s inspiring and practical, which is why I want to do exactly that - sharing some real personality reports of mine, starting with the CliftonStrengths Finder. It’s one of my go-to tools for uncovering unique strengths.

Unlike traditional personality tests, it focuses on identifying what you’re naturally good at—your talents—and how to develop them into strengths to achieve your goals. According to Gallup, 34,178,392 people are using their CliftonStrengths to thrive at work and beyond.

• The assessment identifies your top 5 strengths (or all 34, if you unlock the full report) from a list of 34 talent themes.
• These themes are categorized into four domains of strength:
