Why I’m Committing to Sharing Universal Truths

Why I’m Committing to Sharing Universal Truths

A year and a half ago, my life changed in an instant. I had a heart attack. It was the kind of moment that doesn’t just shake you—it strips you down to the core. After the initial shock and recovery, I did what I think most people in my position would: I started asking bigger questions.

What am I doing with my life? Why am I here? How do I want to spend the time I have?

Up until then, my reading list had been dominated by business, technology, and science. I’d read some incredible books and wanted to understand everything about 'the mind'. I saw it like a computer—something I could optimise or hack. Everything from food, sleep, and exercise to reaching peak mental performance fascinated me. Often, these books had sections for people with issues or diseases, but I’ll admit—I somewhat arrogantly thought that didn’t apply to me. I’d skim over those parts disinterested.

My body had other ideas. The near-death experience pointed out the truth: I WAS one of those people. My intense focus on everything else meant I had ignored warning signs of chronic stress. In the deeper reflection that followed, I could see the pattern clearly. I’d been optimising for the ‘edge’ I’d been losing due to stress but neglecting to fix the problem at the root.

So, I shifted. I reread those chapters in Dr Joe Dispenza's work. It started making sense but I wanted to understand more. I started exploring spirituality and philosophy—areas I’d dabbled in before but not so deeply. I read pretty much everything written by Michael Singer, revisited Vadim Zeland, and studied concepts in Buddhism, Stoicism, and Quantum physics. The more I read, the more I noticed patterns. Certain truths—about balance, letting go, and resilience—kept appearing across disciplines. Whether it was ancient philosophy, spiritual teachings, or modern science, the message was the same: these concepts are universal.

I want to be clear: I’m not an expert. I’m just deeply curious. My philosophical take is simple—these universal truths exist and we instinctively know they’re true. Can we prove them all? Probably not. But I’d argue that science, particularly quantum mechanics, is making fascinating headway in areas that have long seemed abstract. Even so, quantum is just another lens. Like Christianity, psychology, or Taoism, it’s a way of building mental models to understand our human experience.

Regardless of the lens, the universal laws remain. I didn’t invent these ideas; I’ve simply observed them. They’re there, recurring across different belief systems and perspectives. If only we quiet the mind, we can hear from the heart and KNOW they are true. I’ve found immense value in identifying and applying these patterns to my own life.

That’s why I’m committing to sharing these truths. Not because I have all the answers, but because the process of exploring them has been life-changing for me. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be posting regularly about these ideas—what I’ve learned, how they apply to everyday life, business, and why they matter.

These posts are as much for me as they are for you - They’re a way to stay grounded, keep learning, and spark meaningful conversations. If any of this resonates, join me on this. Let’s explore what really matters, together.
