Why I work with other businesses & you should too?
Hey Ishan, If you're doing well with your stores, why you still work with other businesses?
It was an innocent yet thoughtful question Garima had asked me while we were completing her email copies & she wasn't the first, & probably I'm not the only one who comes across these questions!
Garima, I'll answer you, but it's not a one-sentence reply.
Well, I'm all ears.
Look, you know I started with dropshipping to get rich quickly like everyone else out there, right?
Yes, and you made money with it, so why you still work for the same time. Isn't it about Freedom in the first place?
It's about being better and be in the game Garima. When I started, I was a lone wolf fighting against all the odds to survive. Every day was a new struggle, learning curves were steep, and growth was exponential. Now, I have a system taking care of the procurement, supply chain, and customer service. My role has reduced to that of a media buy and a troubleshooter. Growth is predictable.
Look, I want to help more businesses and people because they drive the economy. They produce jobs, and I want less of my tax money to be spent on unemployment benefits.
The second reason is, and this is a big one, every business has unique problems when it comes to Facebook ads or lead generation, and small agencies like yours come to me with multiple clients to help. It makes sure I know multiple segments and pushes my limits as a marketer and strategist. I never knew I would learn about parking ticket laws ,chiropractors, car coatings, car finance, or selling couple-bracelets to the single folks. I did all this without actually starting my own business at the levels where stakes and investments are pretty damn high. If you look at the money I'm making with it, you'll be curious, you must consider how it has benefited me and my businesses, and yeah, I'm making money from it.
She went silent for a minute.
Lol, you're helpful, she said.
No. Garima, I'm just intelligently selfish, and it helps society.
