Why I wish I learn about my birth chart earlier (so that I am not too confused about why I do what I do) – Part 2

Birth chart aspect 2: Sun (Ambition) square Jupiter (Expansion)

I remembered having vast interest in every aspect of the consulting business. This makes me extremely difficult in choosing a certain expertise during the years where I was faced to choose between competencies.

It turns out me being assigned to different projects and collaborating with a diversity of team members, and the downside was, my short time involvement in different areas does not allow me to develop a solid problem-solving approach towards technical issues. Not clever especially if you are trying to climb the ladders in a professional firm.

I also tend to have ‘too much on my plate’ and have difficulties to follow through all of them, often at the expense of my burnt out. There were two comments from my manager which I found to be contradictory: learn to finish what you start versus take a rest and do not pursue too much at a time. Do I take a rest or attempt to complete everything I start?

Little did I know, Sun square Jupiter was hitting at me and I got really tension to prove myself time after time, showing my interest in many areas and never really deep diving into one to get the most out of it. I keep investing time into what were the next thing on my plate that I want to prove myself at to only find out, an exhausted and still directionless self.

Because of the diverse interest I had, I once used to ask myself, is there any job that I can do only brainstorming and presenting it out according to how I want it to be express?

The answer is: YES, working on myself, speaking on ideas of how I breakthrough my personal journey. I am extremely lucky as this it the best times in my life to witness the best of technologies and the availability of platforms that enables me to make good use of my Sun square Jupiter aspect. Not only it gives me the creative outlet I requires, but I can also express myself in a meaningful way with what the things I am passionate about.

Birth chart aspect 3: Venus (Aesthetics) sextile Jupiter (Expansion)

After diving into the challenging aspect of Jupiter, I manage to breathe happily with Venus sextile Jupiter. Having the theme of enlarging beauty in everything I involve; I was happy how I make the best use of the aspect in my personal grooming and perfecting the ‘aesthetic’ skills over the years in my career.

From one who only wore jeans and t-shirts, I started to witness changes in my appearance while adapting the different attires between leisure and work which helped me into perfecting my style that suits me the most instead of overdoing it. It was also a journey of building self-confidence as I got comfortable presenting myself while exploring how I feel what I wear. The texture, color, patterns, length, combination of materials were basic observations that allows me to develop a unique taste of my own, which was a really fun aspect to dive in as a female (can be quite tricky as these both planets also mean extravagant spending, so just be careful)!

This aspect is also what makes me survive the ‘formatting game’ I had in preparing pitching and presentation materials during my years working as a Consultant, where the beauty of engagement not only lies within the content or subject matter in focus, but the whole package of beautifying it showed how much one brand took care of details. Besides formatting, I quickly developed personal style of writing which is so important to engage and self-express in my own blueprint.

This proves to be extremely beneficial when I joined one of the brainstorms sessions, I had in my previous start-up company. It was a Saturday meeting where colleagues voluntarily showed up for teamwork and culture built. As most participant took that Saturday to be a casual presentation, most of them emphasized on the talking instead of putting equal effort to their presentation slides as required by the moderator. It turned out where, as the first team to present, my colleagues were impressed with how quick I can put together and consolidate materials from my team’s discussion yet making it aesthetically pleasant. This forced other teams to quickly beautify and reorganize their materials, which overall increase the quality of presentation.

The experience truly allows me to see how I make the best use of my aspect in Venus and Jupiter to create positive impact on my journey.

So why Jupiter? And my conclusion.

Indeed, all the scenarios above with Jupiter in sights were mere snapshots from my birthdate. Due to Jupiter’s character (expansion) and position in my 1st house (House of self-identity), it is utmost important for me to learn how it interacts with other planets and houses in my birth chart. There are certainly other aspect to look out but the 1st house is definitely my focus as it paves out the way of how I will expand and grow, thus reveal my journey of personal evolution.

It is undeniable that all of us living this time in history are presented with unprecedented dissemination of information which could mean two things: one sinks, or one floats above the sea of information. What information are you using to ‘float’ and ‘be in the flow’? Are you aware what makes you sinks? Or would you simply let life happens to you? If the information makes you feel stuck, what will you do?

This is exactly what the stars hold for every one of us especially in times of the pandemic, a time of rapid acceptance and massive change so we are faced with even more options to deceit us of what matters most. Often, change is here to make us realize what is constant (therefore what matters): letting go whatever that no longer works (e.g. shutting down of businesses), accepting the lessons with grace (e.g. being alone/ limited community to reflect what matters most and what is most cherished) and moving on with full-thrust again (e.g. new business model that serves the new way of living). A deep dive into your birth chart can be truly rewarding and aligning yourself to your truest potential as you worked in favor of your planetary positions of what to let go and what remains in your life.

No matter what you are doing with the information you feed yourself, I wish everyone reading this to be in conscious awareness in these areas of your life: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual as they made up the system (i.e. the human body) you inhibit today. You can never force your system to operate under the system of others, nor others can force theirs’ onto yours, as everyone’s planets exert a different impact on their lives.

Of course, there is so much more to Astrology, not just the Sun signs or birth chart. The progress chart, transition chart, lunar phases, returns of planets, unaspected planets etc. Each of them can hold important information for us in every aspect of our life which can bring us back to the core of ‘who I am’, ‘why I am doing what I am doing’. One key lesson is, Astrology is far more about prediction. It is the understanding of the ‘seen’ and ‘unseen’ forces which makes up the force of life: as above, so below; as within, so without. The more align one can be in their own bigger plan (e.g. guided by their birth chart), the more ease can one navigate through any situations in life. The elimination of confusion can therefore create more productive/ positive disruption energy than destructive ones.
