Why I Support Customer Commerce as the Growth Mechanism for 2025

I'm an entrepreneur at heart. I believe an authentic brand is everything in business, and authenticity comes from the person behind it—no marketing agency or AI can replicate that.

My journey has been a whirlwind of experiences, from running a cleaning business in high school to pioneering early social media concepts with my original website, TheNetworkGirl (a social media website site for Artists and Patrons in 2000; click here to see the Archive).

I've witnessed the evolution of Silicon Valley technology (because that is where I grew up and still call the Bay Area home) and its impact on global businesses, both positive and negative. I've seen the frustrations around siloed systems and the power of clean data in building strong client relationships.

The Early Days of LapTops - what was your first Laptop?

In 1993, going to high school was something I did between growing my business acumen.

My cleaning business was growing; professional business owners also wanted me to be their personal assistant. I wanted a reliable way to manage client data on the go, so I needed a laptop.?

The laptop was more like a portable word processor than today's machines, and it was more that I could afford it, and I enjoyed the idea of being a writer. At the end of the day, it was just a paperweight for my journals and written client ledger compared to today’s high-speed, lightweight, on-the-go technology.?

My interest in computers took off in 1994, immersing myself in the world of programmers without my own machine yet and learning about their setups. In 1998, using my mom's desktop, I started envisioning TheNetworkGirl, a concept that would later become a reality. ACT! was my first CRM, a mainstay for years. I even held onto the physical instruction manual I bought separately (it was huge) and CD for decades! (I finally let it go last year.)

This juxtapoz of my tech journey has brought me StoreConnect and the powerful concept of Customer Commerce.

StoreConnect's focus on "Customer Commerce" resonates deeply with my values. In a world obsessed with metrics and transactions, StoreConnect prioritizes the human element. StoreConnect understands that technology should empower businesses to build genuine customer relationships, not create more barriers.

Here's why I'm a strong advocate for Customer Commerce and StoreConnect:

  • Human-Centered Approach: StoreConnect recognizes that technology should enhance human interaction, not replace it. By breaking down silos and providing a unified platform, they empower businesses to understand their customers on a deeper level.
  • Focus on Relationships: Customer Commerce emphasizes building and nurturing customer relationships. It's about understanding their needs, exceeding expectations, and fostering loyalty.
  • Efficiency and Simplicity: StoreConnect's intuitive interface and seamless integration with Salesforce streamline operations, saving businesses time and resources. This allows them to focus on what truly matters: their customers.
  • Authenticity and Shared Success: I admire StoreConnect's commitment to authenticity and shared success. Their focus on customer feedback and open communication reflects the values of a truly customer-centric company.

Customer Commerce is the most vital tool for business Growth. Businesses can thrive in today's competitive landscape by effectively prioritizing customer relationships and leveraging technology.

I'm excited to be a part of the StoreConnect family to help?nonprofits, education institutes, and companies of all sizes embrace this powerful approach.??

What are you doing to support your Customer Commerce in 2025??- I would love to hear from you. Chime in.
