Why I still use paper notebooks.

Recently, while waiting for a swim meet to start, I pulled out a notebook and scribbled down an idea.

An elderly woman next to me said, “That’s the first time I’ve seen someone write something down by hand in a long time.” 

I immediately replied, “Paper helps me focus. This notebook doesn’t have Netflix.”

There are a lot of reasons I still use paper for ideas, but that might be the clearest.

Notebooks don’t have Netflix.

The photo is the notebook I was using. It's a Leuchtturm Classic Hardcover Pocket A6 Notebook in lemon because I want my ideas to be bright! I have a larger one that I use for bullet journaling and a smaller one I carry with me for on the go ideas.

I use them all the time!? There is a place for digital record but good old write it down helps me best with tasks!

Field Notes Brand. I highly recommend them.... esp. since they put out a lefthanded verson.
