Why I started "something that matters"?
“Anyone can make a difference, so you don’t have to have it be some huge, global campaign… you can start small, and that’s just as important.” – Blake Mycoskie
Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a huge fan of TOMS shoes.
I discovered TOMS during my Entrepreneurship class in Business School. Those were still early days for TOMS but I was a fan from day 1. Inspired by TOMS I even had a business plan ready to start a social enterprise when I graduated. In 2011 I read “Start something that matters” since then, I knew if I would ever start something it will be – “something that matters”.
With GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD I am trying to do my part. I am trying to make a difference in 2 of the world's most solvable problems that involve Food - Bad food and lack of Food. At Good Food For Good I am creating healthy and delicious meals that guarantee no compromise convenience for the people who can afford and donating a meal to people who can't afford with every purchase to fight world hunger.
Thank you Blake Mycoskie for being the trailblazer and inspiring a whole generation of social entrepreneurs to start something that matters.
