Why I Retired Early, Pt.4 (Listening)

Why I Retired Early, Pt.4 (Listening)

Early retirement all started with a business plan to tutor algebra and to do educational seminars.? Turns out, my purpose has transposed into something else; something I’m not coordinating; with plans I could only hear in the silences experienced over the last 10 months.? These “silences” occur while hiking in nature, a form of daily meditation for me.? I’m still engaged in tutoring math and sharing expertise with educators in their respective roles; however, my overall business, Accuratics, has become a journey.? It’s actually a thing, a definition if you will.? Accuratics is a way of living and knowing that our creations, self-awareness, gifts, and talents can be utilized to gain financial freedom; thereby eliminating “work” and instead getting paid for what we truly love and desire to do while contributing to a better world.? Along the way, I’ve rediscovered another hidden passion that has always been in my face – writing.? Turns out it’s more pleasurable than breaking down algebra problems.? And I love breaking down algebra problems.

I’m learning that my orchestration is irrelevant and instead I'm learning to Listen and acting accordingly.? ?One example, the illustration cover for this article.? That’s an Accuratics logo.? Somehow, I’ve managed to design logos with the assistance of AI.? Learning to use AI wasn’t necessarily a goal, but Inspiration guided me through the process.? You may not even like the logo, and I’m not a graphic designer by far.? My tutoring skills were given.? I once taught algebra.? The seminars I present are drawn from experiences in the various roles I’ve had.? But creating a “lovable” logo was not in my wheelhouse.? The Universe is continually blessing me with my needs the moment they’re needed.

What am I saying?? I’m saying my plans (tutoring and presenting) were small in comparison to the Master’s plan.? My early retirement journey is my purpose.? But the challenge is releasing fear, being transmogrified, and sharing being genuinely happy, worry-free, and even abundant.? I don’t have it all figured out by any means, and I will require more abundance over time.? Yet I have no worries.? Almost a year in, there’s gas in my tank and an inexhaustible supply of resources for “work” and leisure. ?Neither can I begin to recall all the blessings received over the last 10 months nor can I write your plan, only He can.? I can only be a witness!? We just have to get out of our own way and trust Him in every moment.? The answers we seek are Everywhere! ?Listen for them and act accordingly. We can all Listen...

(that’s all for now)
