Why I love Opus Clip

I gotta say I've used a ton of amazing tools for #repurposing content. Some of which I still love! However Opus Clip has been quite surprising on how integrated it is in my workflow now.
After 3 years of doing interviews, I've been needing to clip up the amazing words that each guest brought to the table. Despite the fact that these aforementioned amazing tools helped make it easier. I never got around to doing it, as it was such a monumental task.
With every new interview the challenge became bigger. It didn't help that in my head I thought I'd have to get the transcriptions for each video at the same time too. Once I realized those were two separate tasks, and then Opus came into existence.
I tried it out, and back then only a dozen or so clips would be made from each video. Now I get a few dozen per video (most of them quite usable too). I quickly decided that I would go through all of my interviews through Opus.
Now I've made over 1300 clips with this tool. Both for my own content, and for a client's own content as well. Although 1200 of them are for my own.
Meaning I have clips to last me the next 200 days at the 5 or more that I post per day rate.
That is a lot for sure, but given how the platforms operate it really isn't that much in the long run. It is just a hassle to send them out.
Hence where Publer and Nuelink come in handy for scheduling out ahead of time! Do note though that Opus has the ability to send out the clips in that moment if you like too.
Regardless if have another solution, I encourage you to at least try it. You can get 60 free min every month.
The amount of control you have over the captions, framing, and the secret upcoming new features (hint: one of them is auto b-roll, though I'm not sure if that is super secret haha). There is a lot that you can do to make your clips unique.
One thing I really want to highlight is the shared view reframe. So let's say you have a Zoom style video (I use Riverside, but you get the idea). You have two people speaking side by side (or more, Opus supports more people). In the past most tools, if not all of them wouldn't be able to put one speaker on top/and the other below (vice versa).
You'd have to use one tool to make the clips, then something like crossclip to frame them properly. Even the tools that fit into the market niche as Opus, such as Klapp or Dumme they don't have the monumental reframe feature. Despite trying to compete with Opus.

I'm not trying to trash on any tool, I love them all because I'm a repurposing tool nerd. However this is the one thing besides my own procrastination, that was blocking me from making these clips.
So thank you Opus for coming out, and for working with me!
P.S. While yes I am a brand partner for Opus, it is because just how much I adore the team, and how much the tool has helped me.
