Why I Joined BlueConic
In the past two years, how often have you as a marketer heard or even uttered the following?
“The customer is empowered and expects more now than ever from companies.”
“Purchase paths and decision journeys have splintered.”
“Digital technology fundamentally changes how brands and consumers engage.”
I’m guilty of using those phrases dozens of times and have been present for likely hundreds more. And yet, I agree with these conclusions as they are completely and undeniably true. You’d be hard pressed to find a marketer or business leader that disagrees or whose business has avoided the inevitable ramifications that come with such radical shifts in the marketplace.
But it is almost impossible to find a CMO who has figured out a solution to this market shift and re-engineered her marketing programs, spend, and organization accordingly. In my previous role as an analyst at Forrester, I spent five years listening to marketers of all levels, geographies and industries talk about how complex marketing is: more data, channels, and interactions coupled with heightened customer expectations keeps many a marketing professional up at night.
That is why I joined BlueConic. Our platform is singularly constructed to make marketers smarter about their customers to more effectively interact on the customer’s terms, in the right context.
