Why I gave a random gift of $100?

As many of you know, I appreciate student support staff and those who lead them. This was something I started 6 years back with only school counselors and this year I did four virtual appreciation events. You can see the past events HERE, click on the past events tab.

Our school counselors one was back in Febraury, and since February, a lot has happened. But, then the below message came through and I had to give something. The impact Mrs. Bussey had on the life of this parent is nothing compared to the heartfelt letter she shared.

This is why I do the work of appreciation. Yes, I have an app called We Intervene, but an app is nothing compared to the feelings and impact of people.

Thanks L. and Family for keeping my "Why?" in front of me. Thank you for allowing me to build a culture of thanks and appreciation around our Student Support Staff.
