Why I focus on feelings in marketing

Hey friend,
Today I want to talk about something important: Why I focus on feelings in marketing.
Here’s the thing, if people feel nothing towards you and your company, they won’t remember you.
Sorry not sorry but I’m feeling blunt today.
No one cares about what you have to offer… unless you make it about them and their feelings.
It starts with your offer.
Ask yourself: Is it something people want? Meaning do they spend real-life money to get it?
I’m not talking about hypothetical responses from a friend. You know the ones that are like, “That’s such a great idea.” Then disappear when it’s time to pay.
I’m talking about real clients. Who give you real dollars. For your real offer. Those folks. Pay attention to?WHY?they’re buying from you. Notice that it may not be what you think.
THIS is where marketing comes alive. This is where I love to play.
Marketing without understanding the real reasons why people buy is HARD. Not impossible, but it’s going to feel like a lot of work.
Marketing that taps into feelings is easy. You’re simply repeating back the reasons why people buy from you.
Let’s break this down into a real-world example.
Instead of this:?I sell high-ticket coaching services to executive women ready to shift their thinking and take things to the next level.
Try this:?You’re successful. You feel like you should be happier. But you’re not. Maybe you feel stuck at your job. Maybe you feel stuck in your marriage. Maybe your kids don’t appreciate your hard work. If you’re ready to take time for yourself AND find an aligned life, I’m calling you in. Let’s work together to get you the life, career, and love you deserve.
OPTION #2 ^ has a specificity that only comes from talking to real people who have real feelings about the problem. And yes, the solution can be a high ticket coaching service but if your ideal client has those problems, as soon as you say “high-ticket coaching service,” they’re out. They’ve scrolled on. They don’t see why it matters to them.
Focusing on feelings allows your client to see that you understand them FIRST before you jump in with what you have to offer as a solution.

So you’ve made a decision on who to hire to manage your social media presence.
Now, the real work begins.
Outsourcing your social media means handing over something very precious to you to a total stranger and hoping they will care for it as much as you do. That something is your voice and personality.
This vulnerable act is one of the biggest fears of outsourcing. But in today's episode, I’m easing your concerns because there is a real blueprint that can help you to stay you on social media, even if you aren’t the one writing, designing, and creating your content strategy.
