#Fruits are full of macro and micro #nutrients, #detox agents and #energising! Nature's own packaged treat that is also a #superfood. Need I say more?
Since some of you asked, here's why I eat fruits for breakfast every day and also why it may not be the best option for all of you.
1.?I love fruits and have a sweet tooth
Fresh fruits are my favourite food. I dream of them! Having fruits early in the morning is a treat for me. I start my day happy, buoyant and full of energy.
2.?Fuel The Body Right
Natural fruit sugars are what your body needs upon waking up. Not coffee or tea. They keep the brain sharp and energized.
3.?Nutrients
With time, the top layer of soil is becoming nutrient deficient. Fruits mostly grow on trees, the roots of which go deep down. Which is why they’re far richer in nutrient content in today’s world.
4.?To Feel Energetic
Fruits fuel me well and I feel light and energetic in mind and body throughout the day.
5.?Detox
Fruits are rich in fiber, digestive enzymes and #prebiotics which act as powerful detox agents.
6.?Stimulate Digestive Tract, Prevent Bloating

The enzymes, fiber and prebiotics help stimulate digestive juices in the stomach. The fiber cleans the colon, which helps get rid of lower-belly bloating.
7.?Raw Food
Raw foods are high in prana. A good portion, say about 50% of our #diet needs to be raw. Fruits are a good way to get this nourishment.
8.?Immune System Boost
Fruits are high in Vitamin C and #antioxidants, which strengthen the #immunesystem.
9. Strong Heart
A treasure cove of vitamins, minerals, crucial phytonutrients and antioxidants, fruits contribute to lower cholesterol levels and blood pressure. Leading to a healthier, stronger heart and prevention against cardiovascular disease.
10.?Smoothie Bowls Rock
I go for a smoothie bowl when I need something more filling. In addition to fruits, these have 5-6 kinds of seeds, soaked oats, some nuts and dried berries.
Yet, sometimes fruits for breakfast may not be for you. Here’s why:

1 年Nutrition is so important for health and performance, thank you for this information Ruchi! I eat a banana & sometimes oats for breakfast - I don’t like bread at the start or the end of the day - it’s too stodgy. As I’m in my menopause I’ve noticed that I don’t have the same tolerance for fatty foods, they bloat me. I steer way clear of junk food & don’t generally eat that much sugar. I like fish and ensure I eat proteins esp before and after weight training & running. Thank you so much for your excellent nutrition tips!! What would you say are good foods to eat during menopause? ??Xx
