???This week we are going to talk about?why I'm shifting course (a little bit) and starting to do interview episodes again.
I feel like one of the most important skill sets that we can develop as entrepreneurs is the ability to look at what we are currently doing and make necessary adjustments to help keep things going in the correct general direction.?
At the end of each quarter I like to spend some time analyzing what is going well and what isn't. I also like to try and poke holes in any of my frameworks that I teach to make sure that they are still relevant.?
So here's what I noticed in my latest business reflection session: I'm a true believer in my 2/3 Content Rule (this is where I state that YOU should be positioned as the expert of your own show with solo episodes and/or coaching episodes for 2/3 of the total content).
The issue is that I was only doing two to four total interviews PER YEAR...which is WAY less than that 1/3 allotment.?
By not utilizing hardly any podcast interview episodes I have been missing out on collaboration opportunities like being a guest on other people's podcasts, potential business collabs, live stage speaking opportunities, etc.?
So now I'm back out in those podcast streets searching for ideal fit guests for my show and I wanted to provide the checklist I'm using in my search:
? 1. My guests MUST have their own podcast that I could potentially be a good fit for as a guest. If they have a top 200 ranked podcast....even better!
? 2. My guests MUST have an email list. I'm going to ask them if I can pay them to sponsor their newsletter after our interview is completed (if it makes sense).?
? 3. My guests MUST have an active following on at least one social media platform. I'm going to ask them to do a livestream follow up interview on their social platform of choice once our episode is live.?
? 4. My guests MUST NOT have services that compete with mine. I work too hard at establishing my expert positioning to let the?fox inside of the hen house.....LOL.?

??Operation Threads 3,000:
I'm going pretty HARD inside the Threads app right now and I want to take you along for the ride as I figure things out.?
Right now my strategy is to post 2-3 times per day and spend 10-30 minutes commenting on OTHER people's posts per day.?
Here is my Threads growth comparison for the last couple of months:
August: 1,181 followers
September: 1,276 followers
As I write this I'm sitting at 1,311 followers and I predict that my Threads following will surpass 3,000 by the end of 2024.
